Our Portfolio Company is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our organization as the Head of People. In this role, you will become the visionary architect of the company's people-first culture, where every individual is not only empowered but truly inspired to contribute their best work. You won’t just oversee HR processes; you'll craft the foundation for growth, designing strategies that attract, nurture, and retain top talent. Responsibilities:
- Drive Strategic People Initiatives: Lead the design and implementation of people experience strategies, including career progression frameworks and employee engagement programs, that align with the company’s growth objectives.
- HR Systems and Data-Driven Insights: Take ownership of HR systems (HRIS, PEO, etc.) to optimize processes, track key metrics, and leverage data for actionable insights to improve employee experience and performance.
- Build and Strengthen Employer Brand: Develop and execute Employer Value Proposition (EVP) strategies that effectively attract, retain, and engage top talent, particularly within a dynamic, early-stage company environment.
- Operational & Strategic HR Leadership: Balance operational responsibilities (HR compliance, payroll, benefits) with the development of broader people strategies that foster a positive culture, enhance performance, and support scalability.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Oversee talent acquisition efforts to forecast, attract, and retain talent. Collaborate with leaders across the business to establish a robust talent pipeline and onboarding processes that accelerate new hire success and career progression.
- Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and departmental leaders, helping them drive their people's agenda while providing guidance on talent management, organizational design, and leadership development.
- HR Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure global HR compliance, partnering with legal and cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and protect the organization’s interests.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in People Operations or HR,with a proven track record of leading a People or HR department. Strong hands-on expertise in HR compliance, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, policy development, and driving strategic initiatives.
- Talent acquisition and career progression expertise, with a focus on attracting and retaining top talent in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in employee development and engagement, with a track record of implementing scalable programs that enhance performance and satisfaction.
- Proficient in HR systems (HRIS) and HR tech, using data and metrics to drive strategic decisions.
- Strong business partnering abilities, working with leaders to align people strategies with business goals.
- Collaborative, critical thinker with experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through effective hiring and retention practices.
- Experience in remote work environments, designing systems for distributed teams.
- Professional certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) are a plus but not required.
Location:
- Remote, must be based in the US.
Salary:
- $160,000 to $200,000 + Bonus
