Media Operations Manager
Role
The Media Operations Manager is the powerhouse driving seamless production and next-level efficiency for our media teams at Acquisition.com. Responsibilities
As the Media Operations Manager, you will:
- Create and maintain a comprehensive production calendar for both Alex and Leila, ensuring naming conventions, deadlines, and project timelines are clear, conflict-free, and up to date.
- Collaborate with Creative Directors and Managers on post production timelines to stay ahead of publishing calendars, holding editors accountable for deadlines
- Work with Creative Directors after each long form and short form shoot to create and delegate Asana cards for editors to start tackling projects
- Oversee file storage and accessibility, ensuring all teams have secure, compliant, and easy access to relevant files.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring and training new teammates for all 3 media divisions
- Lead preparation of weekly and monthly reports and slide decks to run weekly media team meetings as well as monthly reviews.
- Coordinate with outside vendors as needed when work is outsourced.
- Build and lead a team of Media Operations Coordinators to facilitate seamless collaboration with Alex, Leila, and Acquisition.com media divisions.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement automations and consolidated SOPs to improve workflows and reduce manual tasks.
- Support with data collection and summarize insights from weekly data submissions from platform teams
- Ensure onboarding documents and processes are up-to-date, consistent, and provide clarity for new team members.
- Act as a mentor to media team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss progress, provide feedback, and address challenges.
- Mediate between teams to clarify priorities and timelines, reducing operational friction.
- Oversee content scheduling across all platforms for both Alex and Leila
- Address conflicts in the production calendar, equipment needs, or scheduling to maintain operational harmony - working closely with the Executive Administrative team.
- Establish systems to capture, store, and retrieve valuable insights from content takeaways for strategic use.
- Audit and clean up outdated SOPS or Asana tasks to ensure teams can focus on current priorities.
- Work with videography team to submit requests for vendor or equipment orders, as well as help with documentation (saving receipts and memos for finance) for these orders
Results
- Alex, Leila, and ACQ.com Media teams stay 1 week ahead at all times on publishing across platforms
- All team meetings are properly prepared for accurate reports and time is used efficiently.
- Production calendar maintained that is accurate, conflict-free, and utilized efficiently across teams.
- Reduced workload imbalance across team members, enabling more sustainable productivity
- Consistent, updated onboarding documents and processes that set up new hires for success.
- Weekly and quarterly metrics reports are consolidated and distributed to team for strategic decision making
- Department has secure, compliant file access that protects sensitive information while streamlining team workflows.
- All posting across all platforms is on time and the correct content is posted
- Automated routine tasks free up teams to focus on high-value creative work.
- Consolidated SOPs that reduce complexity and improve team alignment.
- Insights from content takeaways are systematically stored and accessible for strategic planning.

Requirements
- To excel in this role, you will need 6+ years in media operations, production planning, or project management roles.
- 2+ years of experience leading teams or coordinating cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in Asana. Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier, Airtable, or equivalent. Building AI automations via code or no code is a plus.
- Skilled at leading a diverse team of creative professionals, project managers, and data analysts, ensuring accountability for meeting deadlines, delivering high-quality work, and upholding core values.
- Strong communication skills and able to manage individual contribute as well as leads
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Proven experience leading teams or coordinating cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong critical thinking skills to identify bottlenecks and propose actionable solutions.
- A meticulous approach to file management, naming conventions, and maintaining compliant workflows.
- The ability to pivot in a fast-paced environment and adjust workflows as needed.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Salary:
- $130,000 - $150,000
